About Active Support Group
Our History
We are a community-focused organization dedicated to reducing digital inequities, improving employability, and supporting environmental sustainability. By providing refurbished IT equipment to charities, not-for-profit organizations, and other good causes, we help ensure that everyone—especially those in underserved or marginalized communities—has access to the tools needed to thrive in an increasingly digital world. Alongside our refurbishment program, we offer a computer repair service and IT Asset Disposal (ITAD) to responsibly recycle or repurpose used technology.
We also run a variety of community projects that tackle critical issues such as health & wellbeing, cost-of-living pressures, and the digital divide. Our current initiative involves teaching computer repair skills and digital literacy, empowering individuals with marketable technical expertise that can lead to better job prospects or the opportunity to start a small business.
